Given that I am new to foraging, I don’t really have an estimation of how many vegetables or how much foraging I would need to do. For me urban herbology is more about making sense of the environment around me. As for foraging particularly for consumption, I do enjoy taking a few berries and plants here and there, but usually to eat on my walk out itself, and not to take back. So I know that light harvesting is something that I end up doing anyhow, although the module has been useful to think about how others use their urban spaces in a herbal context. My plan next time is to harvest some garlic cloves, just a few, and use them in my cooking. Light harvesting in this sense would be just picking a few cloves, but in a light and respectable manner which leaves the plant intact.
