Hey!
My name is Sasha and i’m living in Amsterdam, close to Westerpark. Being quite new to exploring the world of foraging, it’s very excited to start this apprenticeship. A few days ago i went for a walk in the park and spotted someone picking nettles, but i have to say i didn’t see much foraging here before. I feel like it’s being tolerated, but it’s most likely illegal.
One side of the park is next to a train track and the path i love to walk is shared with lots of dogs, so it is definitely polluted. Other parts are more overgrown and feel more untouched, which makes it an interesting balance. I am very curious to learn more about foraging and crafting – looking forward to the upcoming modules!
