Indeed – What great grand trees the Lime’s are! Lovely to hear this is part of your view from home. A green view is so important.
Did you realise you can do some productive Lime foraging in the autumn and winter? You can forage for some little leaf buds, coming out of the trunks. They are a favourite when I go out and need a wild taste. They also dry well in a paper bag. I think you have tried them with me – when you thoughtfully chew them, they explode with mucilage in the mouth. Very soothing and not unpleasant!
