I learned recently that if I stop looking at a screen at least an hour before I sleep, my dreams are much more vivid.
I’m definitely becoming more attached to my phone these days; wanting to avoid something? I ask myself. And also feel that I’m not resting properly. Not resetting.
The morning routine sounds great, Lynn. I really struggle to rise in the morning, and often/regularly wake 20min before I have to leave the house for work. Ergh.
I try, when I’m conscious of it, to do nothing until the point I get bored, then move from that place of space and the impulse to act, rather than constantly acting. I find that I then do things I really like or find enriching. Finally picking up that book, reading a poem, doing some cleaning.
