1. Have you been able to get any soil, plants, or seeds for free?
Yes, there are some places in the city where people put plants for you to take. Also, some people put plants at the garbage. Sometimes I also take plants from public spaces, when I think I can give them a better place. I also swap plants with friends or fellow gardeners at my garden park. We also have an app-group for swapping stuff including plants there.
2. Which of the ideas in this unit, could be helpful to you?
I did not know about the root-hormones! This is amazing! I have two willow trees so I am definitely going to try this out!
3. Do you have any extra tips which you would like to share?
I can recommend the plant-swap places, f.e. near Prinseneiland is one at the community garden. Also to start such a stuffswap apgroup in your neighbourhood, might help you to other stuff you might like as well!
4. There is a small community garden near Prinseneiland, just when you cross the water and under the railway across the squash place. It looks nice, I am not active there, so I do not know much, but it is cute.
