I made my decoction with gember/kurkuma mix. It took a little while to take over the color but then it quite quickly turned from transparant to honey-color.
The taste is less bitter as I expected. And it gives a funny tingling sensation on my tongue when I take a sip. It is actually not that bad, but I would not drink too much of this as it is quite strong. Three little sips is enough for me.
