Hi Lotte, Yes the smell of apple cider vinegar will be there at the start, but not for long. Like if you add lemon juice to a final hair rinse, the scent is there but not for long. And both work really well, just start by adding a tablespoon of the vinegar (or lemon juice) to about a litre of water, see if that is enough to make the hair soft and smooth. It basically closes down the hair shafts, so the hair is less tangly. It’s good!
