1: Do you remember using or do you still use any traditional remedies?

Yes, I use a lot of herbs in tea. I use Weegbree when I have to much stinging of Nettles, I use Calendula for small skin conditions and Smeerwortel for small skin injuries. I use Kamille in case my head is filled when in a cold, or infection of the eye.

2: Note down a few herbs which you see for sale locally (therapeutic herbs).
There is a lot. Herbs are sold at the Holland & Barrett, Jacob Hooy or Gezond & Wel. To name a few is Kurkuma, Kamille and Aardbeiblad.

4: Briefly describe what you understand the Doctrine of Signatures to mean.
In Dutch this is called Signatuurleer. It means that by the looks of a plant you can tell what it does to you. As a concept I love this theory, because I love the magical way of communication about it. But, it is not scientifically proven and it should never be something to count on, as that would be quite dangerous. I do like it when looks and effect fit together though.
