I like to eat a little something from the local wild each day, and that is easy enough to do. Was also surprised during the WildBiome Project in April, that I didn’t actually need to take long over foraging, and only needed two handfuls of greens per day (plus a wild protein source). Less was more due to the density of nutrients in the plants that chose their own home. And as I couldn’t buy anything, the time saved on shopping was used to look for interesting plants. So I certainly agree – yes, for sure – it is a major challenge to replace what we currently buy from stores, and the way things stand currently, would be an ecological disaster for everyone to try to live off the wild local plants, but if it needed to happen, we could find ways – I hope 🙂
