Comfrey is very difficult to find in Aruba.
I’ve tried to check with some local farmers to see if they have Comfrey, but I’ve either been told that Comfrey is unknown to them. Those that do know about Comfrey say that it’s actually pretty hard to grow here due to the soil conditions, since the soil here is very dry.
I haven’t seen any specific restrictions for Comfrey, but seeing how basically nobody knows about Comfrey, I don’t think it’s used here at all.
Comfrey can be harmful to the liver because it contains a compound called pyrrolizidine alkaloids.
