The Apothecary’s Rose:
– It’s cultivated since Roman times
– known for it’s deep red, fragrant blooms and medicinal uses, f.e. Astringent and anti-inflammatory.
– Thrives in full sun, well-drained soil, and is hardy to cold temperatures.

Rosa Mundi:
– Hardy and easy to grow, which is ideal for organic gardens.
– It has cultural and symbolic significance.
– It’s also known for medicinal uses.

Roses can be used for multiple things.
Some examples are:
Culinary uses, for example: syrup jams or as an ingredient in herbal teas.
Medicinal uses, for example: rose water for skin care.
Cosmetical uses, for example: rose oil, perfumes or lotions.

Fresh petals have a more mild taste, meanwhile dried petals usually have a more concentrated floral flavor. I personally like using dried petals more in herbal teas and homemade rose water for my locs.
The scent of Rose always helps me calm down, so I use it very frequently in combination with chamomile and lavender.
I’ve never painted rose leaves with chocolate! Sounds fun to do.
