In terms of plant crafting, I made seasonal herb vinegar with herbs from my balcony and two small loaves of Lammas sun(flower-seed) bread this year.
I am a gardening volunteer at the Kaskantine, and we are also at peak harvest at the moment. For my ‘Lammas harvest’, I got to take home courgettes, chard, purple beans, lemon balm and rosemary. I also took some of the ground ivy and dandelion root home that we were ‘weeding’.
Finally, I used long grasses to try my hand at making a seed dolly. After a few practice ones, they turned out quite pretty! 🙂
