Here’s to actively doing nothing! Thank you, Lynn, for the reminders and new thoughts. Due to health reasons, I don’t get outside as much as I’d like. (It’s also currently the coldest part of winter.) I adapted the photo of the tree activity to suit one of my newest favorite do nothing activities. I currently have two times and places when I gaze out at my garden and enjoy the birds, wind, light. One is every morning when lingering over breakfast. The other comes in between at home energy draining activities when I sit in a favorite chair with a blanket and cup of something nice. I try for 15 minutes but love when I sit even longer. Often I pretend that I might read the book on my lap (sometimes I do, or do and stop and repeat). After such rests I have energy again for chores (and know that when tired I’ll actively gaze again).
