We have spoken recently but when I read your post here it makes me want to mention a very cool project for immigrant women, from warmer countries, which may be fairly close to you. I visited years ago and did some work with them. They grow some great plants, from where the participating women come from. I didn’t see mango at the time – if only!! – but it could be of interest to you on some level. The name, what was it… I must look it up or ask a mutual friend. They grow and they eat and they help to empower women who are often forgotten here, most do not speak Dutch or English and many have a tough time. Will keep looking and get back to you here.
