Lovely that you mention the plants not liking it, as well as it being a lot to harvest and you not wanting that from your locality. Even if there are heaps of clean, verdant forage-able plants, growing in an idyllic place, we need to stay open to the fact that the plants may not want it. Some take a long time to “ask” the plant before they pick, some try to stay tuned in and open to both options.
