below are a few herbs I have been taking recently.
1. Ashwagandha:
Use: lowering cortisol and inflammation (stress)
Interaction: May decrease the effectiveness of immunosuppressant drugs and avoid taking them with sleeping tablets
Side effects: in large doses can cause stomach upset, diarrhea & vomiting or impact the liver
2. Brahmi
Use brain tonic; mental function, memory, and concentration.
side effects: can cause Nausea or Gastrointestinal upset
Chamomile:
Use: to help sleep
Interaction: patients with an allergic reaction to Ragweed should be warned about the cross-sensitivity to Chamomile
Lemon Balm
Use: to calm the nervous system
Should not be used by pregnant or breastfeeding women and if used externally can cause irritation at high doses.
